Driven by how often he heard travellers say, “I came all the way to Australia but never got to try real Australian food.”

Dave grew up with a severe stutter. Today, he’s a skilled communicator and leader, shaped by decades of refining the art of human connection: listening, breathing and making people feel seen and heard.

His approach to travel is to partner with passionate, founder led producers and guides who live what they make so no guest leaves Australia saying they missed the real taste and soul of the place.

Gemma is a qualified freediver and trained anthropologist with a deep curiosity for culture, nature, and connection. From hitchhiking across Iceland to freediving in Egypt, her adventures have taken her across the globe but it’s Australia’s wild beauty and ancient stories that pull her back every time.

She once spent five years travelling Australia in a van, chasing sunsets, stories, and saltwater.

Gemma’s idea of home doesn’t include walls, just a hammock and a sky full of stars. Although, she wants a large outdoor kitchen!

Alex is a seasoned private guide with a background in education and years of experience hiking, climbing, and camping across the Blue Mountains and beyond. Grounded, calm, and endlessly curious, he’s passionate about helping people connect with nature and with themselves.

After five years living on the road in a van, exploring remote climbs and hidden trails across Australia, Alex returned with a wealth of stories and a passion for guiding.

After losing his father, Alex faced crippling depression. Now, he guides with empathy and strength, helping others embrace life’s highs and lows with courage.

With 20+ years in marketing across the globe including as Head of Marketing for multinational brands, Brona brings the polish to the plate. She transforms native food into irresistible experiences and unforgettable moments.

She’s always dreamed of publishing a novel. Now she’s writing one: a murder mystery set in Northern Ireland.

Matt is our nutrition advisor and proof that balance works. 

After losing 30 kilos (66 pounds) by rethinking how he approached food he became a personal trainer and passionate advocate for sustainable health. He now helps us design tours that are both nourishing and delicious.

Matt spent a year in Japan teaching English, where he discovered just how deeply food and culture are intertwined.
